Ride or Die 2: Chips & Guac

The Ride or Die series traces the many awkward elevator rides of Morgan Schatzman.

It was a quiet day in the apartment building. We had been in and out several times without seeing or speaking with anyone. Perhaps it was this quiet that gave Matt freedom from his inhibition enough to belt out a chorus of “CHIPS AND GUAAAC” as we rode the elevator up to the top floor with our fresh order of Chipotle Chips and Guac.

Of course, such heartfelt melodies are not meant to go unheard, and just as he hit his note, the doors open to two middle age blonde women, who looked quizzically at this sing song boy and his meal.
